After spending ten years in the space on Via della Vetrina, I felt a strong desire to move away from the historic center, which is increasingly emptying of residents and filling with tourists, and to bring art to the more authentic areas of Rome, like the vibrant and culturally rich district of Testaccio, with its long history linked to art and the chance to engage with a broader audience. My challenge is to make the gallery an important meeting point for the neighborhood. Finally, the proximity of the main space to our second space, z2o Project, fosters a creative synergy and dialogue between the two locations.
