Pianostrada Kitchen Lab, “street food” in pink

Alice, Flaminia, Chiara, and Paola: a fully female team at Pianostrada, the gastronomic lab that has definitively revolutionized the concept of street food in the capital. An entrepreneurial project born in the alleys of Trastevere and later realized a few hundred meters away, in a larger venue on Via delle Zoccolette. An excellent Roman culinary tradition, reinterpreted with originality and elegance, able to combine the quality of raw materials with sophisticated presentation. The space is divided into different lounges, created from authentic early 20th-century environments and enriched with furnishings from the past, yet contaminated by a modernity that is also recognizable in their dishes. From furniture to lamps, from upholstery to banqueting: everything in Pianostrada contributes to creating an intimate and refined atmosphere, entirely foreign to street food trends. The heart of this sophisticated architectural setting, as well as the strong point of the venue, is undoubtedly the kitchen area that develops around the counter: it is here that everything happens, where the attention of those comfortably seated can focus on all the food preparation processes. The beautiful garden, with its fairytale charm, can be glimpsed from the entrance and reflects, in its choice of materials, the same taste for the contamination of the interiors; it is the most authentic expression of the spirit of these four women who have demonstrated great managerial skills. Pianostrada’s offerings are completed by a delightful bar, a wooden counter where breakfasts are prepared and cocktails are served.
